Which flooring system is best for handling the heavy machinery and high foot traffic in our facility?

Both epoxy and urethane flooring systems are excellent choices for manufacturing environments. Epoxy is highly durable and resistant to wear, making it ideal for areas with heavy machinery and foot traffic. Urethane is also known for its abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and thermal-shock resistance, making it ideal for facilities exposed to changes in temperatures and those likely to encounter chemical spills.

What is the flooring installation process like, and how long will it take to complete?

The installation process involves surface preparation, application of the chosen flooring system, and curing time. Downtime varies depending on the size of the area and the system used, but we will work with you to minimize disruptions and provide a clear timeline before starting the project so that your facility can stay on track with production goals.

Will the urethane or epoxy leave a smell?

We use low-VOC products whenever possible. While some urethane systems may emit an odour during drying, there is no detectable scent once the project is complete.

Will the new flooring help improve safety in our facility?

Yes, both epoxy and urethane floors can be customized with anti-slip finishes to improve safety in areas where spills or wet conditions are common. Additionally, we can install safety markings and traffic lines to clearly designate pedestrian walkways and equipment zones, helping reduce accidents.

Do you offer a warranty on your services?

Yes! Warranty is entirely dependent on the system chosen, application, quality of concrete, and traffic. During the quoting period we can specify with each proposed system what the warranty period would be.

Our front stairway was in a poor condition, concrete crumbling and cracking, with several layers of previous waterproof coatings peeling on the top.
